Your Responsibilities
The position of electrical facilities manager is an important function within Luotea where you are responsible for ensuring that the electrical installations at the region's three hospitals comply with laws, standards, and the client's requirements. The role involves planning, coordination, and hands-on work.
Examples of your tasks:
- Serve as a contact person for Region Östergötland's overall electrical operations manager and participate in the electrical technical council.
- Take full responsibility for electrical work at the hospitals and function as expert support in electrical installation matters internally and for the client in projects.
- Ensure operational and installation safety through service, maintenance, and inspections, which also includes documentation, monitoring, and development. Much of the practical work is carried out by electricians, with the electrical facilities manager focusing on switchgear, backup power, and UPS systems.
- Plan and coordinate media shutdowns in dialogue with operational departments and manage switching schedules and work orders.
- Participate practically in planned operational changes/power outages and assist with incidents through troubleshooting and operational switching.
- Establish and determine procedures and instructions for operations, maintenance, work requests, switching areas, operational orders, and commissioning.
- Ensure competency requirements, staffing, and training levels within the operational organization, including training electrician colleagues.

Your Profile
We are looking for someone interested in a role with great responsibility and who wants to contribute to safe operations in a complex and socially important environment. To succeed in the role, you need to have a good technical understanding, confidence in your competence, and the ability to combine long-term planning with operational tasks.
You are good at collaboration and creating strong relationships, both internally and externally, and you communicate clearly and pedagogically in speech and writing. The work requires you to be driven and take your own initiative, while working carefully and systematically with the ability to see both details and the big picture. The role sometimes involves many parallel issues and a changing situation, which means you need to be stable, confident in yourself, and able to remain calm even in pressured situations.
Qualifications:
- Secondary education in electrical engineering – Post-secondary education in electrical engineering is meriting
- Type A Authorization
- Approved ESA training
- At least 5 years of documented experience working with complex electrical installations and high voltage
- Knowledge of distribution networks, relay protection, and backup power
- Good knowledge of laws, regulations, standards, and ESA
- Good IT skills and experience with documentation
- Good Swedish in speech and writing
- Class B driver's license
