Building and Facilities Manager

Brocēnu vidusskola of Saldus novada pašvaldība (reg. No. 4113901049) is recruiting for a Building and Facilities Manager position for an indefinite period. Requirements for candidates: - At least secondary or vocational secondary education; - Knowledge of maintenance work and understanding of processes in the relevant field; - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; - Responsible attitude toward work and high initiative; - Good computer and office equipment skills; - According to Section 72, Paragraph 5 of the Child Rights Protection Law, no criminal record data in the Information Centre of the Ministry of Interior. Main Responsibilities: - Monitor the technical condition of sports infrastructure buildings, facility usage, and their compliance with intended purposes; - Organize, direct, and inspect technical staff work; - Be responsible for occupational safety, fire safety, and sanitary conditions in sports infrastructure buildings, stadium, and stadium premises; - Understand work technologies and organization, and related regulatory acts; - Perform repair work (premises, adjacent territories, central heating systems, water supply, sewerage, etc.); - Ensure proper functioning of the complex, maintain electricity, heating, water, and sewerage systems, keep them in technical order, and prevent emergencies and damage; - Plan and organize sports infrastructure repairs, prepare cost estimates for minor repairs, and monitor their completion; - Execute employer's orders and instructions within scope of competence; - Monitor ice hall refrigeration equipment operation.
