(Registration No. 90009225180) announces a competition for an employee position Senior Expert in Building Information Modeling (BIM) issues in the Building Projects Development Department of the Construction Department (for an indefinite period) We offer: • a position where your professional knowledge, abilities, and contribution will be valued • an opportunity to continuously improve your professional qualifications • good working conditions, qualified and supportive colleagues • upon starting work – a mentor and new employee training • flexible working hours, social guarantees, health insurance policy after the probation period, paid additional leave, free parking • a workplace in Āgenskalns - Riga, Ernestīnes Street 34 • stable remuneration (before tax deduction) - 1851 euro (during probation period), 2173 euro (after probation period ends) We expect: • higher education in engineering sciences, as well as additional education in the relevant field; • demonstrable knowledge and understanding of building and structure design, construction processes and phases; • at least 3 years of professional experience in BIM project development and process management and/or BIM control and coordination, and management of large, strategically significant construction projects; • ability to set priorities, independently organize and plan your work, as well as work in a team • ability to express and argue your opinion • ability to make independent decisions • ability to analyze large volumes of information • high sense of responsibility and accuracy • good knowledge of BIM tools, products, technologies, standards and processes • good skills in using technical tools and systems used at work (MS Office applications, AutoCAD, web browsers, etc.); • very good knowledge of Latvian language; • English language knowledge at least at B2 level, necessary for material analysis and document preparation in English, communication provision; • Category B driver's license; • eID card for performance of job duties. General job duties: • implement and maintain a digital BIM system and processes in the Center, perform documentation development (including BIM requirement inclusion in procurement), improvement and development, implementation supervision and control; • manage BIM processes in design and supervision phases, including performing BIM quality control defined in the Center (detailed level compliance checks, model coordination and compatibility checks, etc.); • ensure BIM processes in projects and achievement of project-defined objectives; • define and supervise the Center's BIM requirements in contracts in accordance with project scope of work and expected results; • participate in procurement commissions and perform evaluation of construction procurement candidate qualifications, technical and financial proposals, and provide evaluation opinions; • develop internal regulatory acts (procedures) that determine BIM-related functions in the Center; • provide methodological and technical support to Center employees in working with BIM; • prepare reports and statements on the progress of project task completion and achieved results; • conduct (organize) necessary meetings with parties involved in projects to ensure achievement of their objectives; • organize cooperation between teams and the Center's external partners; • develop or prepare and format documents in accordance with requirements established in regulatory acts. We inform you that the position competition will proceed in two rounds - during the first round the competition commission will evaluate submitted documents and candidate compliance with requirements. To the second round of selection – interview the competition commission will invite only candidates who passed the first round selection.
