Our organization consists of employees with different competencies, each of whom is important in maintaining legal certainty and high quality at every level. About Eksjö District Court Eksjö District Court is an open and development-oriented workplace with engaged employees. We currently have around 25 employees, and the district court has a case unit and an administrative unit. The workplace is characterized by close collaboration between employees. We handle around 2,500 cases and matters per year. Approximately 45 lay judges are affiliated with the district court. The court's jurisdiction covers the municipalities of Eksjö, Vetlanda, Nässjö, Sävsjö, Aneby, and Tranås. Together with other courts in the country, the district court forms the foundation of the judicial system and is a cornerstone of democratic society. Main Responsibilities You are responsible for maintaining our interior environment clean, fresh, and pleasant. The assignment includes cleaning of the district court's office spaces, kitchen and break areas, restrooms, courtrooms, common areas, etc. Your duties involve independently planning and carrying out daily cleaning, wiping, and emptying waste, as well as otherwise caring for the district court's interior environment. You will also, together with the chief administrator and security officer, plan and prepare for possible major cleaning (e.g., larger window cleaning and floor care). Within the administrative unit's tasks, you will also receive visitors, refill materials, and perform certain other interior maintenance. Other service-related tasks may also occur. The work is free and mobile with great responsibility and involves many contacts with employees and other parties at the district court, as well as the public. The work requires great respect for the court's function and operations and high security awareness. Well-functioning and fresh facilities are a prerequisite for the district court's operations. Together with the district court's other employees, you will work to ensure that the district court maintains a high level of service and can perform its important societal function in a good manner. Based on operational needs, working hours are fixed at six hours per working day, 06:30–13:00, including a thirty-minute break. The position will begin with a trial employment period. Qualifications You need to have upper secondary school competence or equivalent education. You are service-oriented, flexible, solution-oriented, and responsive in relation to others. As a person, you should also be thorough and efficient. You are not afraid of hard work or taking responsibility in your work. The work requires good physical fitness in terms of strength and mobility. You are initiative-taking, practically inclined, and ensure that things get done. You have a good ability to independently plan your work and your area of responsibility so that the result is the best! The work requires that you are flexible and comfortable with and enjoy adapting to changes. You are also a good colleague who enjoys seeing yourself as a resource for others' work areas if the situation requires it. You place great value in delivering good results in your work and want to be an active part of the district court's operations. To manage the work, knowledge of Swedish and otherwise good communicative ability are required in order to communicate with colleagues and visitors at the district court. Since you will be working in a smaller organization where local resources have a very important function for operations, you also need to have very good collaboration skills.
