Do you want to combine operational accounting work with development and improvement work? We are now seeking an experienced economics consultant on behalf of our client for an exciting assignment within public sector operations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of supplier and customer accounts processes while serving as important support in daily operations. This assignment is suitable for you if you enjoy analyzing, improving, and translating ideas into concrete results.
About the Assignment
Our client is facing a development initiative with the goal of streamlining, ensuring quality, and future-proofing their approach to supplier and customer accounts management.
As a consultant, you will have a central role in identifying improvement areas, proposing solutions, and contributing to their implementation. At the same time, you will participate in ongoing operational work as needed to ensure stable delivery within the finance function.
The goal is that by the end of the assignment, the operation will have more efficient, robust, and well-documented processes than at the start.
Responsibilities
Analyze and develop working methods, routines, and processes within supplier and customer accounts.
Identify opportunities for streamlining, simplification, and quality improvement.
Contribute to digitalization and automation of accounting processes.
Document and implement improved routines and working methods.
Serve as qualified support on accounts matters.
Participate in operational work within supplier and customer accounts as needed.
Contribute to knowledge transfer and long-term competence development within the operation.
We are Looking for You Who
Have several years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping work.
Have extensive expertise in supplier and customer accounts management.
Have experience developing, streamlining, and quality-assuring accounting processes.
Have experience with improvement and change initiatives.
Are comfortable independently driving initiatives from analysis through implementation and follow-up.
Work in a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented manner.
Are unpretentious and enjoy switching between development work and operational tasks.
Merits

About the Assignment
Consulting assignment through a staffing company.
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Hybrid work.
Assignment period: August 31, 2026 to January 31, 2027.
Estimated scope: approximately 800 hours.
