About the Workplace Property Management is part of the City of Helsingborg and is responsible for providing, managing, and developing the city's owned and leased facilities and housing for municipal operations. As Economics and Administrative Manager, you have a central role in this work by developing the management's economic and administrative processes and contributing to a culture where quality, collaboration, and continuous improvements are a natural part of daily work. The Economics and Administration Department includes both economic functions and several other management-wide functions such as procurement and purchasing, communication, board administration, records and document management, IT and system support, and security coordination. Responsibilities As manager of economics and administration, you have a key role in the property management's continued development. You are responsible for leading, coordinating, and developing the management's economic and administrative operations and have personnel, operations, and budget responsibility for eleven employees. You report to the Management Director and have a central role in the property management's leadership team where you contribute to a culture where quality, collaboration, and continuous improvements are a natural part of daily work. Together with your employees, you develop working methods, processes, and systems that create structure, quality, and benefits for the entire management. In your role, you are responsible for financial management, budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, follow-up and analysis, and serve as strategic support to management and other managers. You also participate in the city's economics manager group and other city-wide networks on targets and governance issues. We Are Looking for Someone Who Has A university degree with a focus on economics Several years of experience with qualified economic work including financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation Several years of experience in a management role with personnel, occupational environment, and operations responsibility Good ability to build trusting relationships and collaborate with various stakeholders It Is Advantageous If You Have Experience in property economics or real estate accounting Experience with economic work in public operations Basic legal knowledge in public operations, such as the principle of public access, procurement, and confidentiality legislation To succeed in the role, you are curious, action-oriented, and results-driven.
