Your responsibilities
In your role as CFO, you are responsible for leading and developing the finance function for CIDAN Machinery Sweden and UK. You have overall responsibility for accounting, reporting, and controlling, and you work closely with both management and group functions.
You ensure high quality in financial reporting and drive efficient and reliable closing processes monthly, quarterly, and annually. You also have clear responsibility for developing and maintaining a strong internal control environment and ensuring compliance with the group's policies, tax, VAT, and other regulatory requirements.
The role involves a clear focus on manufacturing-related economics, where you work with product costing, inventory, standard costs, and variance analysis. Together with the business, you drive work to optimize production efficiency, margins, and working capital, with a particular focus on improving cash flow and strengthening the company's cash conversion cycle.
You are responsible for budget and forecast processes and monitor and analyze financial performance, where you identify deviations and drive measures together with the organization. You work closely with functions such as production, supply chain, sales, and product development and act as an active business partner in decision-making.
Further, you are expected to develop reporting, KPIs, and analysis tools, where you contribute to increased transparency and strengthen the organization's data-driven approach. You have an important role in further developing the use of ERP and BI systems.
The role includes personnel responsibility for the local finance team and close collaboration with the Head of Group Controlling and other finance colleagues within the group.
The position reports to the COO/Sweden MD and is full-time with a start date by agreement.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with solid experience in finance, preferably from manufacturing industry where you have worked close to the business. You have experience from a similar role with responsibility for accounting, reporting, and controlling, and are used to combining strategic work with operational execution.
You have a good understanding of product costing and production economics, and experience working with budgets, forecasts, and financial follow-up. Furthermore, you have experience with ERP systems and strong skills in analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI.
You have post-secondary education in finance or equivalent and communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
As a person, you are analytical, structured, and business-oriented with a strong ability to translate financial data into insights and concrete actions. You are confident in your role, communicate clearly, and have an ability to build trust in the organization.
