Your Assignment Telge Nät owns, operates, develops, and maintains municipal networks for electricity, district heating, broadband, and water and sewerage. As Finance Manager, you'll have a central role in contributing to the company's development through business support, governance, and prioritization. You'll be positioned within Finance & Business Support and report to the CFO. The Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring business-oriented and value-creating financial management in the company. The role actively supports product owners and operations in achieving financial targets, prioritizing the right initiatives, and ensuring the company's resources are used efficiently. You're a key part of developing the company's governance – from traditional monitoring to a more proactive and decision-support approach. In this role, you have personnel and budget responsibility and lead the finance team. You work closely with operations and help strengthen the connection between finance and business across the organization. Within business support to operations, you support product owners in achieving financial targets per product (electricity network, district heating, broadband, water and sewerage). You ensure that finance is integrated into product governance and prioritizations, challenge and quality-assure decisions from a profitability and risk perspective, and contribute to a working approach focused on value-creating activities. You also oversee investment and portfolio management, where you assess profitability and risk in investments and projects. You support prioritization between investments based on business value and financial capacity, and develop methods for tracking investments and outcomes. Furthermore, you're responsible for financial management and processes, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring. You ensure high quality in financial reporting and decision-making materials, and drive the development of finance processes and working methods. Your Background We're looking for you who have: an academic degree in economics or equivalent experience with qualified finance work in a leadership role experience working closely with operations/business (not just accounting) experience working with budgeting, forecasting, and business planning experience analyzing investments and business decisions very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written strong leadership qualities strong analytical skills and business understanding ability to translate financial analysis into concrete decisions good understanding of financial management in capital-intensive operations ability to support and challenge managers and product owners It's a plus if you: have experience from the energy sector or other infrastructure-heavy operations have experience with product or business management have experience with change initiatives and development of finance functions have further education in economics, finance, or leadership have knowledge of electricity network regulations and their impact on business have experience with investment calculations in regulated operations have understanding of digital tools and data-driven governance Your Personal Qualities To thrive in this role, you're courageous and clear, and dare to prioritize and stand by decisions.
