At the end of the year, our current CFO is ready for retirement, after more than a decade with the company. Therefore, we are now seeking a new Chief Financial Officer & HR Manager for our hotel and restaurant company with a turnover of approximately 80 MSEK & around 80 employees. The Company Åkerblads Gästgiveri, Hotell & SPA is a family-owned business that has been in the family's ownership since the 1400s. The hotel is located in the scenic & well-renowned TÄLLBERG in Dalarna. For over 100 years, the location has been a destination for celebrities, royalty & individuals seeking peace and tranquility. Åkerblads Gästgiveri, Hotell & SPA features 73 unique & personally furnished guest rooms as well as a Gästgiveri restaurant. The hotel is currently classified with four stars & is committed to continuous development where quality is one of the cornerstones. Our latest addition to the company is the Spa department, where we offer treatment rooms, hydrotherapy pools & a spa suite. The Spa department's water experience welcomes with a completely new pool area with indoor and outdoor bathing, year-round. The SPA concept also includes a fully equipped gym, sauna, relaxation areas, product shop & pool bar. About the Role In this role, you are a key person within Finance & HR. You work broadly and centrally, with overall responsibility for both finance & personnel matters. You are part of the management team & work closely with the CEO and operations managers to create structure, efficiency & long-term sustainability in a high-paced operation with seasonal variations. Responsibilities Finance · Overall responsibility for accounting, financial statements, annual reports & reporting · Budget, forecast & follow-up work for hotel & restaurant operations · Profitability analyses, calculations & cost control (e.g., personnel & raw material costs) · Liquidity planning, cash flow analysis & cash controls · Processing and registration of supplier invoices received by the company · Payroll management, compilations & payments · Contact with auditors, banks & authorities · Completion of financial statements for the parent company as well as subsidiary companies affiliated with Åkerblads i Tällberg AB · Oversight & supervision of all financial flows in the company · Development & optimization of finance processes and systems HR · Overall responsibility for HR processes in a labor-intensive operation · Support to managers in employment law, workplace environment, scheduling & leadership · Responsibility for payroll processes, agreements & personnel administration · In collaboration with the Hotel Manager, responsibility for recruitment, onboarding & skills development of both permanent & seasonal staff · Handle HR matters & situations that arise in daily operations · In collaboration with the Hotel Manager, continuously work on developing policies, routines & a strong service & company culture Qualifications · Relevant academic education in finance, human resources or equivalent. Alternatively, extensive experience in a similar position that can be considered equivalent to the above. · Several years of experience in qualified finance work, preferably as CFO or controller · Experience in HR work & good knowledge of Swedish labor law · Experience from hotel, restaurant or other labor-intensive service operations is a merit · We work with a range of personnel & finance programs, therefore it is considered a merit if you have knowledge of, for example, Fortnox, Oxceed, Quinyx & Kontek · Accustomed to working closely with operations & in a management team · Excellent knowledge of Swedish & English Personal Qualities · Business-oriented, structured & analytical · Operational and unpretentious – comfortable with thinking strategically & rolling up your sleeves · Communicative & confident in supporting managers in daily operations · Interest in both numbers & people in a service-oriented environment What We Offer · A key role in an established hotel & restaurant company · Great opportunity to influence & develop both finance & HR work · An operations-focused role in an industry with high engagement & pace · A stimulating workplace where work takes place on-site near the hotel's departments · Competitive terms Application Send your application with CV and cover letter no later than 20/9 to [email protected] marked "Finance & HR Position".
