About the Position We are seeking two careful and engaged finance assistants for a government agency in Uppsala. You will become an important part of a cohesive accounting team. You will work in a varied and developing environment where you will primarily work with accounts receivable as well as ongoing register maintenance and upkeep. In your role as a finance assistant, you are also responsible for checking, searching, and compiling information about older records from the customer register, which also means that you verify and confirm the information via phone and email directly. Other Common Work Tasks: - Work with ongoing accounting and bookkeeping - Work with general ledger accounting - Work in accounting systems (for example Unit4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.) and coding - Review of invoices, preparation of documents for data processing, and reconciliation of account balances - Work with accounts payable and accounts receivable - Participation in year-end closing work - Respond to inquiries about deposits and withdrawals Assignment Period and Scope The position of finance assistant is a full-time consulting assignment starting 2026-10-01 and is expected to run through 2026-12-31, with a possible opportunity for extension of up to 3 months. The work is performed on-site at the agency's facilities. Requirements for the Position • High school diploma or equivalent education • At least one (1) year of work experience as a finance assistant • Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent • Knowledge of accounting systems (for example Unit4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.) • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing For us to be able to move you forward in the process, you need to clearly state in your CV that all of the above requirements are met. Particularly important for this position is your attention to detail and organization when handling data and registers.
