Accounting Assistant for Consulting Assignment in Malmö

On behalf of our client, we are now seeking an accounting assistant for a consulting assignment at a company in Malmö. The position is full-time with immediate start and runs initially for 2-3 months, with good opportunities for extension. You will become part of the accounting department during a period with extra support needs in ongoing accounting work. The role suits you if you have several years of experience as an accounting assistant and are comfortable with account reconciliations and have a good understanding of accounting processes and closing procedures. The office is located approximately 20 minutes from central Malmö and close to public transportation. Work is performed on-site at the office. Examples of work tasks: Account reconciliations and balance reconciliations Ongoing accounting administration Recording and tracking of financial transactions Support to the accounting department in daily work Participation in financial processes related to monthly and annual closing Monitoring and quality assurance of financial documentation Who are you? You have at least 5 years of experience working as an accounting assistant or in a similar role You are comfortable with account reconciliations and have a good understanding of balance accounts You have been involved in closing processes and understand the flows behind monthly and annual closing You have good system skills and find it easy to learn new working methods You have experience with Business Central (a plus) You are thorough, structured, and take responsibility You enjoy working independently while being a team player Practical Information: Start: Immediate Scope: Full-time (100%) Placement: Approximately 20 minutes from central Malmö, entirely on-site at the office Assignment period: Initially 2-3 months with possibility for extension During the assignment period, you will have a fixed-term employment with Aspia, or alternatively the opportunity to work as a subcontractor through your own company.
