About the Role As an accounting assistant, you will work with accounts payable and be responsible for ensuring efficient and correct handling of incoming supplier invoices. The role involves close collaboration with both internal and external contacts and is suitable for you if you are thorough, service-oriented, and thrive in a role where structure and problem-solving are important parts of your daily work. In this role you will, among other things, work with: Handling, registration, and posting of supplier invoices. Review and monitoring of invoice flows. Handling of discrepancies and escalation of matters when needed. Communication with internal requisitioners and external suppliers. Identifying improvement opportunities and contributing suggestions for more efficient ways of working. Ensuring that financial information is correct and up-to-date. Contributing to order, structure, and quality in accounting administrative processes. Please note that the position requires that you complete and are approved in a security clearance. Your Profile We are looking for someone with a basic accounting education and/or experience working in accounts payable. You are responsible, take initiative, and have a good ability to collaborate with others. To succeed in the role, we see that you are solution-oriented, communicative, and comfortable taking personal responsibility for your tasks. You also have: 1-3 years of experience working in accounting or accounts payable. Experience in handling and posting supplier invoices. Good understanding of accounting administrative processes. Ability to identify discrepancies and drive issues to resolution. Good system experience and familiarity with accounting systems. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
