Strömsunds hyresbostäder and Strömsunds energi are now hiring a Finance Manager! Strömsunds hyresbostäder is a fully municipally-owned housing company. The company has 17 employees and its headquarters is located in Strömsund. We operate in Strömsund, Hammerdal, Hoting, Backe, Rossön, and Gäddede. Strömsunds energi is a fully municipally-owned district heating company. The company delivers heat to 480 customers in Strömsunds municipality. Our district heating production started in 1982 and since then we have gradually expanded the district heating network. Our vision is that district heating should be the obvious choice for heating homes. About the Position As a Finance Manager, you'll have a central role where ongoing financial work is combined with analysis, development, and support to management. You will be part of the company's management groups and work closely with the CEO on both strategic and operational matters. Responsibilities Your duties will include: - Responsibility for financial analyses such as profitability calculations, etc. - Responsibility for ongoing financial reporting, budgets, forecasts and follow-ups, as well as analyses and decision-making materials - Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and annual reports according to K3 regulations - Handling real estate economic matters, investments and component depreciation, and responsibility for VAT, taxes, and tax filings - Being the contact person for auditors, authorities, banks, and other external parties - Work with liquidity planning - Support to management in strategic, financial, and operational decisions - Ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and governing documents - Monitoring the external environment related to the companies' finances - Development of financial management and control systems, procedures and processes, and business development, contract follow-up, procurement, and purchasing Qualifications We're looking for someone with an academic degree in economics or finance. You have several years of experience in financial work. You thrive in a role where structure is combined with analysis and development. As a person, you are engaged, organized, and results-oriented.
