About the workplace The position is located at the Economics Department within Administration S at the Faculty of Social Sciences. Administration S consists of approximately 70 employees and provides qualified operational support to faculty leadership and departments in areas such as economics, HR, education, research, communication, and management support. As an economic administrator, you will be placed in the economics department, which currently consists of 16 employees. Tasks and areas of responsibility As an economic administrator, your primary task is to provide administrative support in economics to the operations. This includes contributing support and materials for financial planning and monitoring at several of the faculty's departments. You will work closely with both colleagues in the Economics Department and the entire administration as well as other finance functions at Lund University. The role includes a broad range of administrative finance tasks and you will be closely involved in supporting operations. Your main responsibilities are: Work with bookkeeping. Assist with financial statements/budget work. Handling invoicing and invoice review. Provide advice and support on economic and administrative matters. Support and review of travel expenses. Assist with financial reporting of projects and project administration. Procurement, filing, and other service tasks may occur. The work is carried out in collaboration with economists, other administrators, teachers, and researchers. Therefore, we are looking for someone with good collaboration skills, drive, and independence. You are a service-oriented person who is structured and efficient in your way of working. The work places high demands on accuracy, planning ability, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel. Periodically, the work is intensive, which requires the ability to work under time pressure and to independently prioritize between different tasks. Consideration will be given to how your experience and competence are assessed to complement and strengthen the work within the Economics Department and contribute to our future development. Qualifications Requirements At least upper secondary school diploma (three-year theoretical program) Experience in economic work and associated system support, such as Raindance Proficient user of Excel Very good verbal and written ability in both Swedish and English.
