About the Role As an accounting manager, you have an important role where you are responsible for the company's ongoing financial work as well as the accounting and reporting required to satisfy our stakeholders. The role is broad and includes accounting work, business-related support and analysis, as well as payroll management. You will also develop procedures within financial processes. You work in close collaboration with management and other functions and have overall responsibility for the finance function. This means a broad and varied role that is a central part of our operations. Our purchases of direct materials are primarily from European suppliers. Responsibilities as Accounting Manager Accounting, invoicing and payments Monthly and annual financial statements and assistance with inventories Budget work, forecasts and monitoring of production costs Analysis and reporting to management and other stakeholders Payroll management for Osby Mekan AB and our sister company Höganäs Verkstads AB Your Profile To succeed in the role of accounting manager, you have experience with similar tasks. You need to be independent in managing year-end closing and ongoing financial work. Since finance is an essential part of our business, you need to be able to work in a structured manner and enjoy combining short- and long-term tasks in your daily work. As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, collaborate well with others, and take your own initiatives. You are also unpretentious and drive your work forward and make things happen. To succeed in this role/position, it is advantageous if you have experience in the following areas: Experience and knowledge within bookkeeping, accounting, and financial statements. Analytical ability and can work with operational monitoring. Worked in an operations-related role for a manufacturing company. Familiar with payroll systems and have experience with payroll management. Familiar with working in business systems and payroll management systems. We use Monitor and Kontek. Knowledge of Excel, Word and other office programs.
