We are now seeking a strategic and business-oriented director of finance and administration who wants to be part of developing the company and contributing to our continued success. This is a role for you who appreciate the combination of finance, operations development, HR, and sustainability. You are driven by creating structure, providing qualified decision support, and developing both people and processes. Role Description As director of finance and administration, you have overall responsibility for Södertörns Fjärrvärme's finance function and financial management, as well as HR, workplace environment, and environment. The assignment is of central importance for the company's continued development and includes both strategic and operational issues within these areas. You lead the finance and administration department and have personnel responsibility for six employees. You have budget and operational responsibility for the function and are responsible for developing working methods, processes, and internal management models. The role includes leading budget, forecast, and closing processes, ensuring high quality in financial reporting, and responsibility for annual reports, financing issues, liquidity planning, and auditor relations. You prepare financial analyses and decision-making materials for the CEO, management group, and board, and actively contribute to matters concerning investments, business development, pricing, and long-term planning. You also have responsibility for HR, workplace environment, and environment, including matters related to talent supply, employment law, salary structure, systematic workplace safety work, and environmental management. You ensure compliance with legal requirements, make decisions within the area, and drive the company's development toward established operational, sustainability, and workplace environment goals. The role involves many points of contact and close collaboration with the company's various departments, parent companies, municipalities, and external stakeholders. You report to the CEO, are part of the company's management group, and provide important strategic and business support to the CEO, parent companies, and board. Your Profile We are looking for someone with a degree in business administration or other relevant academic education in finance, and several years of experience with qualified finance work in a senior position. You have documented experience in financial management, budgeting and forecasting, financial statements, annual reports, consolidated accounting, financing, and financial analysis. Experience from energy, water and sanitation, infrastructure, or municipal companies is strongly valued. A requirement is that you have worked in capital-intensive operations and with consolidated accounting. You are a confident leader with strong analytical skills and high integrity. You combine strategic thinking with a practical and operations-focused approach and have the ability to translate analyses into clear decision-making materials and operational value. To succeed in the role, you need to appreciate a daily work where strategic issues are combined with operational decisions and close collaboration with both management and operations. You are organized, business-minded, and unpretentious, with the ability to build trust and establish good relationships both internally and externally.
