Economist / Independent Accountant

About Us We are looking for a colleague for the position of Economist / Independent Accountant for multiple divisions of COLORprofi Holding in our friendly finance team. Job Responsibilities: - Comprehensive management of double-entry bookkeeping, including overhead agenda - Preparation of documents and submission of tax returns for VAT, corporate income tax, and real estate tax to the tax office - Recording and accounting inventory of fixed assets and small assets - Communication with suppliers, customers, colleagues, and authorities - Management of closing and reporting operations - Preparation of financial statements, including reports and additional documentation - Preparation of consolidated financial statements, including reports and additional documentation - Conducting audits of financial statements and consolidated financial statements, including communication and cooperation with auditors - Submission of monthly and quarterly information based on reports to the Czech Statistical Office - Preparation of financial documents for external parties - Processing of documents within grant projects - Submission of regular monthly and annual reports to the company owner - Active approach to setting up and managing the information system - Creation of supporting documentation for all accounting transactions, including transfer pricing - Mutual substitution within the finance department We Expect From You: - Attention to detail and reliability - Organizational skills - Willingness to work independently and as part of a team - Desire to learn new things - Communication skills, team spirit, and responsible approach - Emphasis on meeting deadlines - Secondary or higher education in accounting, finance, or economics - At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing company is an advantage - Work with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) What We Can Offer You: - A background in a prosperous and continually growing family company - Development of personal and professional potential - English language course and opportunities for further education - Company phone and laptop as standard - Motivating salary compensation - A finance team that will support you and guide you through your entire onboarding!
