Mountpac is seeking a Finance Manager with drive, business acumen, and the opportunity to shape the role
Are you a structured and self-driven finance professional who wants to work close to operations and be part of a growth journey? Do you want a role where work is not just about finance, but also about influencing, contributing, and developing both function and working methods over time? Mountpac is now seeking a finance manager who wants to take overall responsibility for the company's finance function and become an important part of continued development.
Your role:
As Finance Manager at Mountpac, you will have overall responsibility for finances in both Mountpac AB and Mountpac Fastighets AB. The role involves close collaboration with the CEO and a central position in the company, with a focus on ensuring quality in accounting, reporting, and financial monitoring.
The position is broad and flexible, both in scope and content. Finance work constitutes approximately 50% of the role, which opens up opportunities to also contribute to other parts of the business, such as administration, projects, procurement, or business support, depending on background and interest.
Here you step into a key position in a small company where influence, proximity to decisions, and understanding of the bigger picture are a natural part of everyday life.
You will:
Be responsible for ongoing accounting, including bookkeeping, reconciliations and accruals, and ensure that VAT, taxes and other legal requirements are handled correctly and on time. Monthly, quarterly and annual accounts are prepared together with responsibility for annual reports and contact with auditors.
Reporting to the group is an important part of the role, as is creating structure and quality in financial monitoring. Budget and forecasting work is included, along with developing KPIs and monitoring models that support operations.
An analytical perspective on the business is central, where costs, margins and cash flow are monitored and transformed into insights and decision support for the CEO. The role also involves supporting ongoing financial management as needed, for example in invoicing and payment flows.
Depending on your profile, there is an opportunity to contribute more broadly to the business, in areas such as administration, projects or business support.
You are:
A person who thrives in an independent role with great responsibility and who has the ability to combine structure with flexibility. Accuracy and analytical rigor go hand in hand with a solution-oriented approach and ability to see the bigger picture in business.
Confidence in financial competence combined with an unpretentious attitude and willingness to contribute where needs arise. Collaboration skills, clear communication and the ability to build trust are natural strengths.
Post-secondary education in finance or equivalent experience is a foundation, together with good knowledge of accounting, financial statements and tax. Experience from small or medium-sized companies is considered a merit.
At the same time, personal qualities weigh heavily, where attitude, drive and fit with the company are as important as previous experience.
You will get:
A central and responsible role in a growing company where there is great opportunity to influence both the finance function and your own role over time. Work takes place close to operations, with short decision-making paths and high trust.
The environment is characterized by flexibility, entrepreneurship and collaboration, where there is an opportunity to contribute broadly and grow together with the company.
