About the Assignment We are now seeking an economist for our client in Tjörn with a start around September 14 through December 11. There is a possibility for extension. Work takes place during office hours 08-16:30 with the option for flexible and remote work. The scope of the role is estimated at between 50 and 80%. Your Tasks As an economist, you will support the infrastructure development operations and its various departments with financial matters. You work closely with the operations on budget, forecasts, monitoring, financial statements, and accounting, as well as contribute with analyses and financial decision support. The role also includes financial monitoring of investments and separate accounting, with a particular focus on water, sewage, and waste operations. Your tasks also include: Support the infrastructure development operations. Support all operations. Responsible for budget, forecasts, monitoring, and financial statements. Prepare financial reports and decision-making materials. Your Qualifications Experience in accounting within infrastructure development operations. Experience in municipal accounting. Experience in bookkeeping, budget, monitoring, forecasting, and financial statements. Experience with programs such as: Unit4/Agresso + Hypergene + Excel + and to a lesser extent other systems such as EDP. Experience with separate accounting, investments, and component accounting. Experience in waste management as well as water and sewage operations.
