About the role
As a Senior Accounting Economist at Hedda, you will have overall responsibility for our finance function. You work both strategically and operationally to ensure high quality in our financial reporting. This position is 80%.
A central part of the role is ongoing bookkeeping, invoicing, and re-invoicing. Your assignment will be to support, prioritize, and quality assure the team's work. We currently have one accounting employee in the organization.
Your main responsibilities:
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Responsibility for monthly reporting and analysis.
Handling supplier invoices and invoicing.
Ensuring correct handling of VAT (our business is mostly VAT-exempt, but some VAT-liable sales occur).

Who are you?
We're looking for someone who is independent, meticulous, and pedagogical in your leadership. You have a good ability to structure processes and ensure that deadlines are met with high precision.
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in qualified accounting work.
Experience in independently preparing financial statements and financial reports.
Good understanding of VAT rules, preferably in businesses with mixed revenue.
Previous experience with personnel responsibility or supervisory duties is highly desirable.

Background from the healthcare sector or similar business, which gives you a faster start with us.
