About the Role As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and ensuring Polestar's work within Environment, Health & Safety (EHS). You will work both operationally and strategically with occupational health matters in Sweden as well as environmental and sustainability-related processes globally. The role involves close collaboration with HR, Sustainability, and managers in the organization, and you will be an important advisor on matters relating to occupational health, safety, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: Drive and develop systematic occupational health and safety (SAM) and organizational and social work environment (OSA) initiatives Ensure compliance with Swedish occupational health and environmental legislation Support managers in risk assessments, occupational health processes, and training initiatives Manage incidents, near-misses, safety inspections, and occupational health audits Monitor key performance indicators, drive improvement initiatives, and develop EHS processes and approaches Work with sustainability and environmental compliance at the global level, including ISO 14001 efforts and regulatory contacts What We're Looking For We are seeking someone with relevant academic qualifications and 3-6 years of experience in occupational health, EHS, HSE, compliance, or related areas. You have experience with systematic occupational health and safety (SAM), organizational and social work environment (OSA), as well as incident management and follow-up. You have strong knowledge of Swedish occupational health legislation and are comfortable independently driving matters and projects forward. To succeed in this role, you are organized, communicative, and skilled at building relationships with various stakeholders. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English. Experience with ISO 14001 and international organizations is a plus.
