Job Duties: As a welder and industrial mechanic, your work is focused on welding expertise on heavy metal objects that can vary depending on the assignment. No two projects are alike. The work includes both assembly jobs and welding work where precision is highly valued. Primary welding methods are stick and wire (no license required). Mobile work platforms and heavy lifting may occur. You will be part of a qualified team of employees at the company. If you live in another location, accommodation can be arranged temporarily. Qualifications: To be considered for the position, you must have several years of experience in welding and maintenance within heavy industry. Safety is important to our client and you should be accustomed to following strict safety regulations. Experience with welding work, repairs and machine assembly as well as being familiar with reading technical drawings.
