DSV Seeks Control Tower Specialist for Malmö

DSV LL is an independent 4PL operator within DSV Global Transport and Logistics that offers customized transport networks for customers with special logistics needs. At our Malmö office, you will work closely with our customer, who operates various types of production in both Sweden and Finland with terminals both inside and outside the EU. We are a team of dedicated Control Tower specialists with diverse backgrounds and a shared interest in transport and logistics. Together, we work to deliver the best possible transport solutions with a strong focus on collaboration and customer service. Job Responsibilities: As a Control Tower specialist, your role is the link between our customer and our suppliers. Together with the rest of our team, you will manage, plan, and oversee our customer transports Ensure that suppliers and customers comply with procedures through monitoring of production systems, EDI flows, documentation, and other relevant areas for compliance Receive and validate customer orders/bookings Plan transport execution according to booking/customer request Daily follow-up of transports Non-compliance reporting of delays, incidents, or any form of deviation in TMS and via other platforms depending on type of deviation Take corrective action on deviations in the control tower and perform other non-automated tasks according to specified processes and associated procedures Assist in compiling required statistics for evaluation and monitoring of performed and purchased services Daily contact with customer, carriers, and internal contact departments Investigate deviations on supplier invoices and take corrective action Calculation of transport costs Qualifications: The Control Tower specialist position requires commitment, responsibility, and a clear customer focus. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in freight forwarding/traffic management or third-party logistics operations with a focus on road freight Excellent command of English and Swedish in both speech and writing.
