Driven Operations Developer and Youth Coach

SV Väst and Västra Vi Unga are now seeking an engaged and driven operations developer and youth coach to support our young members and develop our operations. Västra Vi Unga spans 34 municipalities in the Västra Götaland region (the entire region excluding Skaraborg) and works to support young people in both urban and rural areas within this territory. About the Job Your Responsibilities As an operations developer and youth coach with us, you will: · Support young leaders and organizations: Help young people start and run their organizations, develop their ideas, and take responsibility in their projects. · Develop operations: Create new opportunities for our members to engage, contribute creative solutions, and develop local initiatives. Establish new organizations to give more young people opportunities. · Inspire and engage: Conduct workshops, lead training sessions, and organize activities that empower young people and their ability to influence society. · Collaborate: Build networks with other organizations and actors that share our values. · Communication and marketing: Make Västra Vi Unga visible through social media, newsletters, and other channels. · Administration and finances: Manage simple administrative tasks and take basic financial responsibility in the role, such as budget tracking and reporting. Your Profile Who Are You? We are looking for someone who: · Has experience working with young people, for example within associations, education, or other youth activities. · Has strong leadership and collaboration skills, and can inspire young people to develop and take responsibility. · Is organized and self-directed, with the ability to take own initiatives. · Has a strong interest in democracy, folk education, and inclusion. · Has administrative capability and is comfortable handling simple financial tasks. · Can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Merits: · Experience in project management or operations development. · Knowledge of rural challenges and opportunities.
