This new role as Facilities Technician / Digital Development Lead was created specifically to take the next step in how we approach facilities management. What the role is really about This is not a traditional operations role; you combine: Operational management in a technically complex facility Energy monitoring and analysis Development of work methods, systems, and digital tools An informal leadership role within the team You serve as a bridge between operations, coordination, and management – with a clear mandate to improve how we work. You report to the Facilities Department with the Facilities Manager as your direct supervisor. What you'll actually do In your daily work, this means you: Conduct troubleshooting and optimize operations in complex systems Identify discrepancies in energy data and translate them into action Develop and improve our digital tools, AI agents, and work methods Ensure quality in data collection, monitoring, and reporting Support and coach colleagues on how to use our digital systems in practice Provide technical support in investments and development decisions In short: you impact both today's operations and future development. You have the education, experience, and intuition needed to understand a facility as a whole. With post-secondary education in building technology (or equivalent background) and a valid driver's license, you can, among other things, see the big picture of a facility, understand the consequences of technical decisions, and prioritize correctly in your daily work. But what sets you apart: You question work methods – and improve them You see potential in data, systems, and digitalization You're comfortable taking initiative without clear guidelines You bring others along, even in times of change You don't need to know everything about digitalization, AI, or systems – but you should be willing to use them in practice.
