As an operations technician, you have an important role in moving this work forward. Together we make Luleå sustainable. We are responsible for Luleå Municipality's water and wastewater operations (VA) with responsibility for new construction, operation and maintenance of VA lines, water meters, wastewater treatment plants, waterworks and pumping stations, read more here. About the Role As an operations technician with us, you become an important part of an engaged team that, together with work supervisors, works with reconstruction and new construction work, service, ongoing operations and maintenance of our water and wastewater pipelines. Here you work long-term with modern technology and equipment, as our lines must last over 100 years into the future. Together with your colleagues, you are the face of the department as you perform your daily work out among the residents and visitors of Luleå Municipality. You are a good ambassador and we have high expectations for your customer service skills and flexibility in your interactions with others. The work is largely conducted outdoors, which suits you if you enjoy practical work and appreciate seeing clear results of what you do. We are looking for someone with at least upper secondary education, preferably in construction or plumbing. As a person you are calm, thorough and feel responsibility and commitment to your work and set goals. You are action-oriented and have an easy time creating and maintaining good relationships, both with colleagues and external parties.
