At Forshagabostäder, you will have a key role in ensuring the operation of our facilities in Forshaga and Deje. Here you will have the opportunity to work closely with operations, influence development, and create long-term improvements in a property portfolio that you follow over time. About the Position As a Facilities Technician, you are responsible for the technical operation of our facilities with a focus on heating, ventilation, and control systems. The role is both operational and developmental, working with everything from daily supervision, troubleshooting, and maintenance to optimization of systems and technical equipment. A typical day may include work in control and monitoring systems, follow-up on alarms and fault reports, rounds of substations and fan rooms, and troubleshooting and improvement measures to ensure stable and energy-efficient operation. You will become our specialist in operational matters and work closely with the property manager and other technicians in the organization. The role involves significant independent responsibility while being an important part of a cohesive team. In this position, you will also be part of the company's emergency response group. Key Responsibilities Monitor and follow up on the technical systems of the facilities Handle operational alarms and fault reports Round and inspect substations, fan rooms, and technical installations Troubleshoot and resolve operational disruptions Perform temperature and air flow measurements Conduct preventive maintenance Optimize heating, ventilation, and control systems Plan and perform service tasks such as filter replacements Communicate with tenants on technical matters Propose and implement energy efficiency measures Who Are You? We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and who finds it equally stimulating to prevent problems as to solve them. You likely have experience in facilities management, plumbing, ventilation, energy, or control systems. Perhaps you currently work as a facilities technician, building technician, service technician, or ventilation technician and want to take the next step in a role with greater overall responsibility. To succeed in this role, we see that you have: At least high school education in facility management, plumbing, energy, facilities engineering, or another relevant technical field Experience in facilities management or technical installations Knowledge of heating, ventilation, or control systems Good computer skills and experience with technical systems Driver's license (Category B) Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written As a Person To thrive with us, we believe you are a calm and confident person who takes responsibility for your work.
