We at Facility and Service have a turnover of just over one billion kronor and are approximately 400 employees. We develop, manage and maintain a floor area of just over 760,000 square meters, everything from new advanced healthcare buildings to medieval castles. We also handle transportation and work with logistics solutions within Region Uppsala and are responsible for meal service to hospitalized patients. Most of our customers are within healthcare and the largest customer is Akademiska Hospital. Our Operations
We are currently in an exciting, expansive period where both new construction and significant renovations are taking place at the hospital site. At Facility and Service Region Uppsala you will work in a healthcare environment and the work takes place within the Akademiska Hospital area. You will receive varied, interesting and responsible work tasks in an environment with competent colleagues and a variety of technical systems.
The Facility Operations Department is a unit within the Facility and Service administration. We are approximately 80 employees responsible for the operation and maintenance of Region Uppsala's properties. You will be part of the HS group which consists of 14 employees who handle daily operations within HS, cooling and medical gases in Region Uppsala's property portfolio.
Your Assignment
The work is varied, contains much problem-solving and you have great opportunity to direct your own work and come up with suggestions and improvements where you see needs and opportunities. You will work with operation, supervision and maintenance, corrective maintenance and facility service of the properties' cooling and recovery systems.
The work also includes troubleshooting and emergency corrective measures on the hospital's cooling system. The work also includes energy improvement measures. The position includes on-call duty and in the future you may be part of the on-call group.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone interested in facility technology and who thrives in a varied environment where you encounter both new and old, simple and complicated.
Requirements
• You have refrigeration certificate category 1.
• You have at least three years of experience as a refrigeration technician.
• You have good experience using computers as a work tool.
• You speak and write very good Swedish.
• You have a category B driver's license.
Meritorious
• Experience in service and repair of household appliances.
• Experience in control/regulation systems.
Your Competence
As a person you have good social competence with a positive attitude and are responsive to the customer's needs. You have good prioritization skills and are quality-conscious in your work. You take responsibility for your own work while being accustomed to and enjoying working in a team.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

The position is full-time, permanent with commencement by agreement. Placement at Akademiska Hospital which is your main work area, but it also includes handling matters throughout Region Uppsala's property portfolio and you will travel with a service vehicle.
