About the Unit The Swedish Armed Forces' Telecommunications and Information Systems Regiment, FMTIS, has the primary task of managing the operation and maintenance of command support systems at all readiness levels both nationally and internationally. The unit you will be part of is led from Örebro but the work is located in Stockholm. Main Responsibilities Work as a facilities operations technician involves operation and maintenance of defense-specific installations in the areas of electrical systems, plumbing and heating, cooling, ventilation, control and regulation systems, as well as protective structures. We perform both inspection and maintenance as well as planned and corrective maintenance. The work is varied in nature and requires independence and creativity to find solutions to problems. Other Information Employment form: Permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not already employed by the agency. Employment degree: Full-time.
