The Operations Unit in Mariestad/Lidköping/Falköping consists of a total of 15 facilities technicians working with plumbing, electrical systems, ventilation, and carpentry. We are now seeking a facilities technician specializing in plumbing, based at the hospital in Falköping! About the Role As a facilities technician, you will primarily work with maintenance and oversight tasks, both planned and urgent measures, focusing mainly on plumbing in our properties. You will also be responsible for operations service, which includes installations, troubleshooting, and repairs of tenants' equipment. The work is highly varied with many social interactions. Travel may be required as part of the job. Working as a facilities technician at Västfastigheter Operations means stimulating work with significant personal responsibility. We work daytime hours but have on-call availability at home according to a specific schedule. About You We are looking for someone with a technical high school education in plumbing, or post-secondary education such as vocational school in plumbing, operations and maintenance, or facilities management. Alternatively, you have other education and experience that is considered equivalent. You have experience with independent work on operations and maintenance of technical systems. You also have several years of documented experience in plumbing and are accustomed to handling administrative tasks such as work orders, invoicing, or audit documentation. You have strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written. Since we operate with a customer-focused approach, we expect you to be comfortable with both collaboration and independent work, and to understand the importance of service and communication with our tenants. You are an engaged person who is skilled at building communicative networks and has good coordination skills. You are thorough and action-oriented, have an initiative-taking nature, and are accustomed to independently managing and solving problems that arise. As a person, you value working with engaged colleagues and take pride in your professional role. Shared responsibility for your and your team's deliverables is self-evident to you.
