JOB DUTIES Welcome to the Streets and Property Unit at Säter Municipality! We are looking for a committed colleague to join our team of employees. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to a safe, pleasant, and well-maintained outdoor environment for the municipality's residents and visitors. You will be an important part of community service and work both independently and in a team with the operation and maintenance of the municipality's green and infrastructure environments. As a park worker, you are responsible for the care, maintenance, and development of parks, green areas, and other public outdoor spaces. The position has a special focus on work with tractors and wheel loaders, where machines are used in both daily maintenance and construction and seasonal work. The job duties include, among other things: Operation and daily inspection of tractors, wheel loaders, and other machines. Transportation of soil, gravel, sand, plant material, and other work materials. Loading, unloading, and material handling. Snow removal, sanding, and anti-slip treatment during winter. Grass cutting and care of larger green areas with machines. Installation and maintenance of lawns, plantings, pathways, and playgrounds. Pruning, weed removal, and other plant care. Simple service and daily maintenance of machines and tools. Participation in construction and improvement work in outdoor environments. Documentation and reporting of completed work and any defects or deficiencies. Clearing & cutting in residential vegetation. We are looking for someone who: Has experience working in soil and construction. Has experience in operation & maintenance of roads, soil, parks & green areas. Has documented experience operating tractors and wheel loaders. Holds at least a B driver's license. Has good machine skills and understanding of safe use of work machines. Has knowledge of daily inspection and simple maintenance of machines. Has good physical fitness and enjoys practical outdoor work year-round. QUALIFICATIONS B driver's license Wheel loader certification Tractor experience Must be able to operate a tractor and tractor with forest trailer safely. Chainsaws certification A + B Brush cutter certification Park maintenance Previous experience in park maintenance Employment Type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent.
