We are looking for you to work as a plant operator at an exciting and innovative workplace where your process technical knowledge and high commitment will be a central function in our operations. Together with your qualified colleagues, your important work will contribute to sustainable industrial development both today and for future generations. As a plant operator, you will control operations and monitor the chemical processes involved in our activities according to established standard procedures and operating instructions. The work includes shift work. The facility in Vargön is largely an outdoor installation, which means that a significant portion of the work is performed outdoors, year-round and in all weather conditions. The work is physical; lifting occurs. You move around the entire facility, climb stairs, operate forklifts, and handle heavy hoses and couplings during loading and unloading. You work with tanks, pumps, valves, and other process equipment, and you handle flammable materials, hazardous waste, and chemical products. This requires precision and adherence to procedures every time. Daily tasks include: – Plant operation and production monitoring – Plant operation and production optimization – Simple lab analyses – Routine operator maintenance (First Line Maintenance) – Preventive health, safety & environment work – Process optimization and continuous improvements – Loading and unloading of flammable materials – Forklift operation and handling of drums, IBC containers, and goods – Manual handling of goods and materials, including lifting – Supervision of tanks, pumps, and process equipment You have completed technical upper secondary education and at least 3 years of experience in process industry, manufacturing industry, or similar operations. You should have good knowledge of safety-based operating and maintenance procedures in process industry. A B-category driving license is required. It is highly advantageous if you have experience in chemical industries, loading and unloading of liquid media, and handling of flammable materials. Forklift certification and forklift experience, as well as ADR training are advantageous. Very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required.
