About the Operations Control Engineer Role Our control center is the heart of our operations and it ensures 24/7 that electricity can flow to our 970,000 customers' homes every day. As an Operations Control Engineer at Ellevio, you work at one of Sweden's largest Control Centers and you get the opportunity to work in a modern environment where development is in focus while being an important part of operating parts of Sweden's infrastructure. The power industry is undergoing an exciting development, where customers play a more active role and where collaboration with renewable production, storage solutions, and flexibility become increasingly important. Electricity networks are crucial in this change and operations are central. As an Operations Control Engineer, you will have a varied day where you collaborate and solve challenges with internal colleagues as well as external contractors. In the role, you will work with planned maintenance, monitoring, operations, and troubleshooting in Ellevio's electricity network. You will also be part of our operations support team that assists the operational activities. In operations support, we also handle business development, capacity challenges, proactive analysis and monitoring of network flows, etc. In this position, shift work is an option for those who wish. We are looking for you who: Have upper secondary or post-secondary education with a technical focus (preferably in power engineering, energy and environment, or electronics) and several years of relevant work experience. Have worked with systems for monitoring and controlling processes. We believe that this competence will help you understand the operations, but you can also learn and develop in this area on the job. Can express yourself fluently in both speech and writing in Swedish.
