About the OperationFacility Services is part of the Service Unit in Melleruds Municipality, which includes food service, meal transport, and facility maintenance. We have 26 employees in Facility Services who clean all municipal facilities. Daily cleaning is performed on approximately 47,900 square meters, including preschools, schools, and care facilities, as well as other municipal operations. We continuously develop our services and therefore use PRYL training, which is updated every 5 years. To improve our work environment, we reduce our chemical handling and use cleaning machines.
Job Responsibilities
As an employee of the Service Unit within the Community Development Administration, you will collaborate with operations managers regarding daily facility management in Melleruds Municipality. You will have an additional and overarching responsibility for facility services. You will assist with contracts/procurement, conduct ATP measurements, internal audits, prepare large meetings and any necessary training, schedule planning, etc. Your responsibilities include setting up, planning, and ordering work materials, recruiting temporary staff, and long-term planning for major cleaning such as floor maintenance and high-level cleaning, which also includes equipment relocation. You will actively work to achieve and follow up on the operations' goals and policies and work toward an attractive workplace promoted by active development and improvement work as well as teamwork. Database system management. Participate in improving the work environment and digitalization of operations.
Qualifications
You must have at least facility services training (SRY or PRYL), at least 2 years of experience in facility services, documented experience in personnel management of a facility services team for at least 1 year, or leadership training. You should be able to work independently or as part of a team. We place great importance on your ability to collaborate easily, attention to detail, drive, flexibility, stress resilience, and the ability to see the bigger picture. It is important that you are a service-oriented person with high social competence, as the work involves extensive contact with unit personnel and customers. You should have good knowledge of computer programs. The job requires a valid Class B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle and access to a car. You must be responsible, take initiative, and have a strong command of Swedish, both spoken and written. Personal suitability for the role and our team spirit are important factors in our recruitment.
