In early 2024, SRS opened a state-of-the-art facility in Vaggeryd where boxes and pallets are washed, repaired, warehoused, and distributed to be quickly and efficiently used by customers across the country. We are now recruiting an operations manager for the department that handles warehousing, repair, and logistics. Your primary task as Operations Manager is to drive and plan the operational and tactical work for repair and delivery, which includes shift staffing and optimizing logistics flows at the facility. Your main responsibilities are listed below: • Personnel responsibility for employees within your area and promoting development, well-being, and a good culture • Work environment – Responsible for work environment, development, and safety for personnel within your respective area. • Planning of incoming and outgoing goods, warehouse capacity, and flow at the facility, as well as daily coordination of resources and priorities to meet operational needs. • Develop flows and warehouse utilization both in the short and medium term in collaboration with logistics. • Ensure that productivity, quality, and delivery reliability are monitored and align with established targets and SLAs • Analysis, monitoring, and reporting of KPIs • Proactively drive systematic safety work, improvement work (5S, OpUh), and work environment initiatives (TIA, etc.) as well as development areas in handling our business system Jeeves • Develop processes and flows and optimize operations within your respective area and follow up on compliance, coordinate major initiatives with the Lean manager • Cost monitoring and invoice handling To succeed in the role of operations manager, we believe you are a natural leader with previous experience in operationally leading and developing teams. We also believe you possess knowledge and expertise in warehousing and logistics that you have developed through post-secondary education or equivalent work experience, which we can use in the development of our work at the facility. The personal qualities we believe you possess are that you are empathetic and a good listener with excellent communication skills. You are thorough, responsible, and well-organized, with an analytical and solution-oriented mindset. We are looking for someone who values collaboration and actively contributes to the group's development and success. You see the strength in working together with others and enjoy sharing knowledge, experiences, and ideas that help the operation develop and reach its goals. We also believe you possess knowledge and expertise in warehousing and logistics and have experience working in business and management systems, which can contribute to the development of our work at the facility. Experience with Jeeves is a merit. We hope you have good IT skills and knowledge of office software. Good knowledge of both Swedish and English is a requirement for the position. You collaborate with the Operations Manager responsible for production, operations developers, central support functions, and your team in Jönköping, and you report to the Site Manager. In the final stages of the process, personality and aptitude tests will be conducted and a background check will be performed before employment.
