We at Property and Service have a turnover of over one billion kronor and employ approximately 500 people. We develop, manage, and maintain a floor space of over 760,000 square meters, from new advanced healthcare buildings to medieval castles. We also handle transportation and work with logistics solutions within Region Uppsala and are responsible for meal services to hospitalized patients. Most of our customers are within healthcare, and our largest customer is Akademiska Hospital. Our Operations
We work in the Technical Department at Property and Service, managing and maintaining the technical infrastructure in Region Uppsala's properties and facilities. We are now looking for an HVAC Operations Engineer!
Do you have expertise in ventilation, heating, water and wastewater systems and want to work on varying tasks in a complex operation under continuous development? Then you will thrive with us and we with you!
Your Assignment
As an HVAC Operations Engineer, you will work operatively with Region Uppsala's properties in the county, outside of Akademiska Hospital. Your tasks include:
• Troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimizing technical systems in close contact with operations.
• Ensuring that operations have the required documentation to carry out their tasks and securing that operations have robust access to functioning HVAC systems.
• Providing technical support and instructions for supervision and maintenance to operations technicians.
• Collaborating with technical specialists to identify and prioritize maintenance and reinvestments, as well as preparations for inspections.
You will work closely with technical specialists, facility managers, and operations technicians, and will participate in projects. Since your main responsibility is properties in the county, the work involves considerable travel within the region; a service vehicle is available.
You will be part of the Technical Department, which consists of 20 employees with various specialized expertise in facility engineering, documentation, and healthcare function planning. You will become part of a unique group of engaged employees characterized by close collaboration and good atmosphere.
Your Qualifications and Competence
We are looking for someone with good technical experience in ventilation, water systems, heating systems, heating and cooling systems, treatment plants, heat pumps, and cooling machines.
Requirements:
• Trained HVAC engineer or equivalent as assessed by the employer.
• Experience with HVAC and its equipment and systems.
• Ability to educate and instruct in technical areas.
• Good Swedish in speech and writing.
• Class B driver's license.
Meritorious:
• Experience with energy efficiency improvements.
• Relevant higher education.
• Experience from healthcare facilities.

You are structured and take responsibility and enjoy working for continuous improvements through optimization and increased operational reliability. What We Offer
The position is permanent at 100%. Employment to commence as soon as possible by agreement.
You will be based at Akademiska Hospital and work from there, but most of your time will be spent at Region Uppsala's properties.
