The company with approximately 85 employees operates district heating, electricity distribution, and hydroelectric power station operations. The company is owned by Ludvika Municipality and Fagersta Municipality. About the Role Do you want to work as an Operations Engineer with us at VB Elnät and contribute to a sustainable society of the future? Investing in, expanding, and maintaining the electricity grid is part of our daily work. The power grid is monitored 24/7 through our operations center in Ludvika. Additionally, we are responsible for measuring how much electricity our customers use. Within Västerbergslagens Elnät, we currently have 32 employees who together accelerate our digital transformation, test and implement new technology that contributes to increased delivery reliability and quality for our customers. We are in a growth phase with major investment plans, and to meet our customers' needs and contribute to the energy transition, we are now seeking an Operations Engineer. Your Areas of Responsibility As an Operations Engineer with us, you will be part of the Production Department and will be an important support in daily and long-term operations and maintenance work to ensure facilities with high availability. You will be responsible for: Execution and planning of operations and maintenance Development and improvement of work routines and processes Coordination with customers The position involves extensive customer contact both in the field and by phone. Requirements Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience deemed equivalent Experience with practical work such as troubleshooting in low and high voltage installations Meritorious: knowledge in process, electrical, control and regulation technology, maintenance, or mechanics Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written We are looking for someone who thrives in a relationship-building role where you can drive your work forward together with others.
