Your Role As Operations Manager for Technology, you are responsible for a broad area of responsibility that includes coordinating and directing rock engineering processes, blasting execution and development, infrastructure projects in the mine, dust control and water management. The area also includes operating, developing and quality assuring system-technical technical areas such as drilling, charging, machine data and analysis. You lead and coordinate the team's work to create conditions for safe, efficient and future-oriented production. You work proactively and quality assure deliverables, production systems and technical solutions. Together with the team, you identify improvement areas and drive development initiatives through cross-functional collaboration. This includes working with technical development of systems and data, providing technical support to the operations organization, and collaborating with the maintenance organization to ensure good availability and production safety. The role requires extensive collaboration, both internally with the operations organization and externally with system suppliers and technology partners. The position includes personnel and budget responsibility. Your Tasks Lead and coordinate operation of mine-related infrastructure projects Lead and coordinate dust and water management Lead and coordinate system development in the section's machinery Lead and coordinate rock engineering processes Lead and coordinate blasting technical development work together with mine planning Responsible for the team's deliverables, resource allocation and results Create a culture of collaboration, engagement and continuous improvement Ensure and lead development and implementation of technical solutions Optimize production flows in collaboration with the operations organization Identify potential in technology and working methods for increased productivity Ensure that analysis of production data is prepared as decision support Communicate trends, deviations and improvement potential Follow up KPIs and act on deviations Lead and participate in improvement initiatives and change work Work cross-functionally with many contact points The position is a permanent full-time employment based in Aitik. Start date by agreement. A six-month probationary period applies. Your Contribution We are looking for you who have relevant higher education or university degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience. You have several years of experience in leadership and driving improvement work in production technical matters in mine-related operations. You are a natural leader who engages those around you and has the ability to drive a group forward through coaching and developing leadership. You work structurally, are goal-focused and lead both operations and employees towards set goals. You are open, communicative and unpretentious with very good collaboration skills. You are self-driven and proactive and take responsibility for change work, identify development opportunities and implement them in practice together with others. You enjoy taking on new challenges and are driven by improving working methods and production. Personal qualities are highly valued. You have good knowledge of Swedish (or willingness to learn) and English, both spoken and written. A driver's license at least class B (manual transmission) is a requirement. Why Work With Us?
