ISS Facility Services has a long-standing partnership in Integrated Facility Services with a customer in the automotive industry that operates multiple sites throughout Sweden. We are now seeking a Technical Operations Manager for our Umeå site. Your mission will be to achieve set goals and ensure world-class service. About the Role
In your role as Technical Operations Manager, you will lead your team in daily operations and promote their development. You are responsible for delivering our operations and maintenance mandate in technical services to the customer. With responsibility for results and personnel, you will lead both small and large projects together with your team members. You are expected to ensure that we maintain specified functional requirements within the scope of the services.
Examples of tasks and areas of responsibility included in your role:
Organize and lead the team in daily operations.
Responsibility for development conversations, workplace meetings, and developing your team.
Continuous and regular customer contact with a focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibility for operational matters and their development in consultation with management and staff.
Responsibility for ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the agreement and that staffing is optimal.
Responsibility for developing the assignment so that work is conducted as efficiently as possible at all times.
Budget and forecasting work.
Financial responsibility for the operations area and its subcontractors.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone with extensive experience in leadership, finance, and workplace environment management. You have a very good understanding of facility technology, and we would like to see experience with industrial facilities and familiarity with production and process operations.
You are a responsible and service-oriented person who strives for high customer satisfaction, with the aim of maintaining good and long-term relationships. You need to be comfortable making decisions and setting the direction forward. Since the work involves some administration, it helps if you see it as a natural part of your workday. You should be accustomed to the administrative tasks that come with a management role and have very good IT skills. You easily pick up new systems, information, new technology, and you thrive in an industrial environment. You have excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite and speak and write good Swedish and English.
You have good social skills and a responsive, down-to-earth, and humble demeanor. You have an eye for both details and the bigger picture. You are communicative and enjoy close collaboration with both customers and employees. You create a sense of community and security to promote your team's further development and well-being, and ultimately a stable and high-quality delivery. You are practical by nature and have the ability to work proactively rather than reactively. Since you are innovative and creative, it promotes our development efforts to improve and optimize our internal processes and workflows.
