The IT Department (ITA) is responsible for delivering secure, accessible, and cost-effective IT infrastructure to the organization. We are undergoing comprehensive modernization with a focus on cloud services, centralization, and platforms for research and collaboration.
Your Role
We are seeking a senior Operations Lead for Azure who will provide clear technical leadership for our cloud platform. The role involves overall responsibility for Azure as a service area, including operations, development, and establishment. You will work closely with other technical areas such as Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, and applications.
Responsibilities
Responsible for operations and management of Azure in an Enterprise environment
Lead the development of Azure as an internal service
Design and implement solutions based on business needs
Integrate Azure with existing infrastructure
Work with governance, policies, and standardization
Automate operations and delivery processes
Participate as a technical resource in projects and change initiatives.
Additionally:
On-call duties and work during inconvenient hours may occur
Installations, updates, and troubleshooting in production environments are included.
Who Are You?
You have:
Several years of experience with Azure operations in a large organization
Experience building or developing Azure platforms
Knowledge of Azure (CAF, policies, IaC)
Experience with automation (PowerShell or equivalent)
Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
It is advantageous if you have:
Experience with Active Directory in a hybrid environment
Experience with Power Platform
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Conditional Access, Information Protection, Enterprise Apps)
Broad expertise in IT infrastructure
