As an operations and maintenance technician at Z-Signaler, you'll work with modern technology that keeps traffic in Norrbotten safe, smooth, and functioning. You'll be part of a team working with everything from traffic signals and ITS solutions to VMS signs and weather stations, with all of Norrbotten as your work area. A varied job where what you do every day actually matters for society. Job Information Professionals Nord is recruiting an operations and maintenance technician on behalf of Z-Signaler. This assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Z-Signaler for 6 months. The intention is that you could eventually become directly employed by them, provided all parties are satisfied with the collaboration. You'll get a varied role where you combine practical technical work with troubleshooting, service, and maintenance. Since the systems are located at different places in the region, travel is a natural part of the job and on-call duty may occur. You'll be an important part of ensuring that traffic systems function as they should and that traffic can continue to flow safely and smoothly. Examples of work tasks: Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of traffic systems and weather stations Troubleshooting, service, and repair of electrical systems Planning, shutdowns, and documentation of work Collaboration with technicians, engineers, and programmers for a safe and well-functioning traffic environment We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is curious about technology, likes to take responsibility, and wants to develop in the role. Previous experience is an asset, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are most important. Requirements: Valid driver's license (category B) Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Comfortable with work-related travel Desirable: Experience with electrical installation, troubleshooting, or repair Experience working on roads Knowledge of electrical safety and regulations Experience with pole climbing START: By agreement SCOPE: Full-time LOCATION: Luleå SELECTION: Ongoing Apply for the position by clicking "apply for the job" below.
