Operations and Maintenance Worker

The Role As an operations and maintenance worker with us, you will work on an exciting variety of both smaller and larger projects within road and construction. Your work tasks can include everything from excavation and stone setting to guardrail work and fence repairs. The work also includes traffic closures, TMA driving, and bare ground work. The position includes on-call duties, which involve responsibility for activating snow plow and anti-skid units and managing communication with contractors. The on-call schedule is predetermined. Your Experience We are looking for someone who has: Experience in earthwork and construction, operations and maintenance work, or equivalent background from the contracting industry. Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. Class C driver's license. We consider it advantageous if you have hot work certification and experience working on road classes 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, and 2.1. Class CE driver's license and wheel loader operator certification are also advantageous. We value your practical experience and technical understanding. Your Qualities We are looking for someone who is responsible and engaged and who enjoys practical work and teamwork. You are flexible and can adapt to the needs of the operation – whether it involves planned work or unexpected situations requiring quick solutions. You like to take your own initiative and contribute to order and organization.
