Dormsjöstiftelsen Seeks Treatment Pedagogues for Awake Night Shifts

Activity Description: Dormsjö School is a residential care facility (HVB) for boys aged 7-23. We are located in Southern Dalarna, just north of Hedemora, and operate our own free school. Children and young people live in five beautifully situated houses, near a lovely swimming lake and exciting forests. Here there are opportunities for fun activities and quiet moments, as well as supportive adults. Target Group: Boys with neuropsychiatric disabilities and social and emotional challenges. We have capacity for 28 children/young people, and our authorization covers placements under the Social Services Act (SoL), Care of Young Persons Act (LVU), and Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Disabilities Act (LSS). Job Description: You will work alone while sleeping night staff are present in the house. Cleaning according to a schedule and breakfast preparation. You participate in morning duties and have medication delegation responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is creative and enjoys physical activity, is passionate about working with children and young people with special needs, and excels at building trusting and positive relationships. The position requires you to be calm, solution-focused, stress-resilient, and very patient. You must be able to express yourself clearly in writing, as documentation is part of the role. Education: A degree in Social Work/Treatment Pedagogy or equivalent education is preferred. Upon hiring, a background check and criminal record extract will be required.
