Region Skåne is facing continued digitalization with increasing demands for collaboration, information exchange, and reuse, both internally and together with national actors. To meet this, we are now seeking a domain architect for integration with the task of guiding, coordinating, and developing target images and architecture for Region Skåne's integration solutions.
As a domain architect for integration, you will be part of a unit responsible for integration and information. You will be responsible for ensuring that the integration architecture long-term supports Region Skåne's goals, complies with relevant regulations, and enables secure, efficient, and sustainable digital development.
The role of domain architect for integration is a strategic and responsible architectural role. You own architectural issues within the integration domain and work for wholeness, reuse, and coordination across organizational and system boundaries.
The integration domain encompasses common integration solutions, platforms, principles, and patterns that enable information exchange between systems internally within Region Skåne as well as externally with national and other collaborating parties.

TASKS
As a domain architect, you will, among other things:
• Be responsible for planning, development, and management of architecture within the integration domain.
• Develop and maintain target images, target architectures, principles, guidelines, and guidance for integration.
• Promote reuse and coordination of integration solutions so that initiatives are not developed in isolation.
• Ensure that integration solutions meet regulatory, security, and functional requirements.
• Participate in and drive architectural assessments, consultations, and support efforts to projects, management, or other initiatives.
• Collaborate with other domain architects, chief architect, and relevant business and IT functions.
• Follow developments in the field and contribute to Region Skåne developing its capabilities for integration and information exchange.
The role may, if needed, also involve participation in initiatives to develop or implement architectures with a clear strategic focus.

QUALIFICATIONS
Are you the person we are looking for?
We welcome you who have the following experience and competence:
• Technical college/university education or other education that the employer deems relevant.
• Extensive experience with integration, integration platforms, and both developing and delivering on developed integration architecture.
• Ability to work strategically and long-term, while appreciating and being able to support concrete initiatives.
• Good understanding of complex IT landscapes, information flows, and dependencies.
• Experience in developing and anchoring principles, target architectures, and governing documents.
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and business-oriented roles.
• Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
You are a structured and self-driven person who thrives in a leadership role. You take responsibility for the whole, show the way forward, and have a strong focus on delivery. With a methodical and solution-oriented work approach, you drive work forward and ensure that what you begin is also completed. You have a good ability to manage multiple activities in parallel and to maintain direction toward set goals.
As a person, you are attentive and collaboration-oriented, with ease in creating good relationships and communicating with people from different backgrounds and varying IT knowledge. You have a very good ability to understand the organization's needs and see how IT can support and develop the organization.
You think strategically and long-term and have a good ability to translate overarching goals and strategies into appropriate architecture. Through your holistic perspective, you ensure that the architecture aligns with the region's long-term strategy and business goals while driving work forward in an efficient and structured way.

Digitalization IT and MT provides support and service to all operations in Region Skåne and works strategically and developmentally to promote digitalization and digital transformation. The department contributes to the implementation of a modern and cohesive digital care environment while existing IT/MT services are operated, managed, and delivered professionally and cost-effectively according to the expectations of the operations. Digitalization IT and MT is also responsible for maintaining operational reliability of medical technology products and providing support with technical expertise in medical technology-related matters.
