Dairy Farm Animal Care Worker

The farm operates modern dairy production with approximately 1000 milking cattle. Animals are milked 3 times per day. The work can include milking, moving cattle, caring for animals, calves, heifers and cows, feeding, scraping manure, washing stables, sanitation, managing manure facilities, and maintenance. Basic qualities of applicants: Willing to work hard and prepared to be exposed to manure, hot and cold weather. Willing to learn new things and function well in a group. Able to follow written and oral instructions in English and/or Swedish. Ability to perform repetitive manual work. Interest in dairy production and willingness to handle animals safely and respectfully. The Position Work is performed 24/7 at the workplace, so shift work and inconvenient hours may be part of the job. Work is performed every day of the year, so work on weekends and holidays occurs. Positions are full-time. Personal pets are not permitted at the workplace. Applicants with own hoofed animals are discouraged due to contamination risk. Poor bus connections.
