DUTIES As a district nurse with us, you will have varied and independent work with great opportunity to influence and develop the practice. You will work closely with two other district nurses where you together form a team. Here you will meet patients of all ages and work with preventive, treatment, and health-promoting interventions. Duties include reception work and independent patient visits. You work with assessment, counseling, and triage via phone and digital care contacts. The role includes sample collection, vaccinations, dressing changes, and follow-up of patients with chronic diseases. As a district nurse, you have an important role in health promotion and preventive work, where you contribute to strengthening patients' health and preventing disease. You collaborate with doctors and other professionals at the health center. We offer opportunities for further education and professional development. As new staff, you will receive individualized introduction adapted to your experience. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you as a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare and who has further education as a district nurse. Swedish language proficiency equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. We welcome both newly educated district nurses and those with experience in primary care. You are confident in your professional role as a nurse and can work independently.
