The assistive devices operations are responsible for managing assistive device services for people with mobility disabilities in the southern part of Stockholm County, as well as county-wide responsibility for people in need of consumable aids at home, medical technical equipment at home, and communication, cognition, vision, and hearing aids. We are looking for you, a district nurse with extensive experience in prescribing our products. Consumable Aids at Home (FHH) is one of four assistive device operations within the Stockholm County Healthcare Region (SLSO) and Region Stockholm. Our area of responsibility and product range includes nutrition, incontinence, diabetes, dressings and medical articles, as well as compression materials. We distribute our products through our warehouse to approximately 182,000 patients each year. The work consists of collaborating with your colleagues on our product areas. You will work with assortment, knowledge, education, and procurement. The work requires a high degree of accuracy and independence, where you will develop processes and routines. Patient safety and efficiency are important in this work. You will work as an assistive device consultant within the consultant team, which together is responsible for all product areas within FHH. Job Responsibilities: • Conduct prescriber training on our products and the prescription process. • Product assortment and regulatory development within the operation. • Together with your colleagues, be responsible for medical expertise within our product areas. • Evaluate, update, and manage the product assortment. • Participate in network groups and lead reference group meetings. • Provide advice to prescribers. • Contact with interest organizations/user organizations • Contact with product suppliers • Develop and revise procedures and work with quality improvements Qualifications: • Licensed District Nurse with at least 2 years of experience in the position. • Experience and further training in any of our product areas is a merit. • Very good computer skills. Good knowledge of Office applications such as Excel and experience using various IT tools are necessary. • You enjoy giving presentations, providing training, and speaking freely in front of others. • You should be able to independently drive issues and have good communication skills. • Very good analytical skills where improvement project work is an important part. • Product procurement is part of the work; experience in procurement is a merit. For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Region: - A background check is conducted before employment decision in accordance with SLSO's overarching guidance for background checks at employment. - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment. - In addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required.
