The unit for licensed personnel in Brunflo is now seeking a new colleague on a full-time basis starting October 1st. The position is full-time with working hours Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00, plus every 10th weekend and public holidays. When you work weekends, you share district nurse responsibilities with three colleagues within the municipality. Your New Job Your daily work is based at the unit located in central Brunflo where you will have your own office in a fine and pleasant facility. In the same building are managers, an occupational therapist, physiotherapist, and the home care team, which promotes collaboration and collegial support. The municipality's district nurses have professional development meetings twice per term. The purpose of these meetings is competency development and knowledge exchange. Each meeting has a specific focus area determined based on the group's needs or wishes. As a district nurse in home health care, we take turns participating in various trainings, such as palliative care days, primary care days, and medication conferences. If you are confident, enjoy working independently but in close teamwork with colleagues and care staff in home care, this role is for you. Common Work Tasks As a nurse/district nurse with us, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment and care interventions. The work is performed in collaboration with home care staff, your nursing and district nurse colleagues, as well as staff at health centers and in regional specialist care. Other common tasks include wound care, palliative care, guidance and training of home care personnel, and delegation of work tasks. You document and update patient records continuously in our management system. Your Competence Requirements Nursing license Driver's license category B Meritorious District nurse license Experience from municipal care Experience from home health care Good knowledge of wound care Familiarity with management systems Cosmic Link, Viva, and MCSS We're Looking for You As a person, you have good empathetic abilities and are calm and obliging in your interactions. You are good at finding solutions and have a genuine desire to help others. As a nurse/district nurse, you are self-driven, flexible, and stable. The extract can be ordered via the Police website, polisen.se. The register extract to be ordered is "Work with elderly or adults with disabilities".
