Duties
We are seeking an experienced registered nurse or district nurse who wants to help develop our operations. With us, you will work in a stable and dedicated team where quality, continuity, and patient focus are central to daily work.
Work as a registered nurse/district nurse with us involves a broad and varied clinical day, where you meet patients of different ages and life situations – from children to people at the end of life. You work with typical nursing tasks such as telephone advice, digital contact via 1177 Direkt, outpatient clinic work, disease prevention initiatives, and specialist nurse consultations.
You work both independently and in close collaboration with other professional categories. We value a structured approach and active improvement work, where you as an employee have the opportunity to influence and contribute to the development of our operations.
About the Workplace
The 11 region-operated primary care centers and their emergency clinics in Västmanland are operated as an intrapreneurship with its own board and Region Västmanland as owner. Operations are gathered under the name Närvården Västmanland, and together we work to offer accessible and high-quality primary care throughout the region. We continuously invest in developing our workplaces to meet the needs of future primary care.
Närvården Viksäng-Irsta is one of these primary care centers, and the operation also has a branch clinic in Irsta. The primary care center is located in an area with good accessibility, close to both the city center and public transportation. The primary care center has parking and good bus connections.
We are responsible for approximately 15,800 registered patients and offer physician and district nurse consultations, maternal and child health services, and rehabilitation with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, counseling services, and dietitian services. Our work is based on the patient's needs with a focus on continuity, quality, and safety.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who
- are a licensed registered nurse, preferably with further education as a district nurse
- have experience with the Cosmic medical records system and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- are confident and stable in your professional role, with good collaboration skills and professional conduct
- work in a structured manner, take responsibility for your tasks, and contribute to a good work environment
- have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and meet patients and colleagues with respect and attentiveness
