As a new district physician, we offer you a customized introduction tailored to your needs. The primary care center has physician clinics, specialist nurse clinics, nurse clinics, child health services, psychosocial expertise, foot care, and laboratory services. We also are responsible for a number of care facilities. Job Description We are seeking a Specialist in General Medicine for our physician clinic. The position includes regular clinic work within the primary care mission, such as physician clinics, child health services, and consultation with home care and special care facilities. To some extent, the scope and distribution of these tasks can be tailored to your individual interests. You will participate in on-call services, including shared primary care on-call at the on-call center as well as backup on-call duty. Part of your working time will be spent supervising less experienced colleagues, such as AT/ST physicians and medical students. This occurs during specifically allocated time in the schedule. If you as a physician see an opportunity in viewing digitalization and new technology as a possibility, we want to create space for adopting new methods and ways of working. We want to promote innovative primary care and care closer to home while also giving the opportunity to meet our patients in alternative ways, such as through video visits and monitoring of certain chronic diseases. Work Group We are approximately 27 employees at the primary care center who enjoy working together in an open work environment. The physician clinic currently consists of 5 specialists in general medicine and 2 ST physicians. About You You are a Specialist in General Medicine and have previous experience working in primary care. You hold Swedish physician credentials (attached to application) and have Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish C1 level. As you work in constant dialogue with patients, family members, colleagues, and other organizations, it is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. As a person, you are confident in yourself, have good teamwork skills with others in the team, are efficient, and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You have good judgment and enjoy teamwork. You are unpretentious and communicate clearly. We value that you have a commitment to operational development and that you have social competence and can meet different people according to their needs.
